Former soccer star Mark Bosnich was arrested after an alleged assault on his ex-girlfriend Sophie Anderton, it emerged today.
The ex-Chelsea goalkeeper, 31, was detained following an incident in Knightsbridge, west London, last night.
Underwear model Anderton, 26, was taken to hospital suffering bruising and later discharged.
Scotland Yard said a 31-year-old man was arrested last night in connection with an allegation of an assault on a woman in what appeared to be a domestic incident.
He was taken to Notting Hill police station where he was released on bail and is due to return to police on December 4th.
Australian Bosnich was treated for depression last year after being suspended from Chelsea for failing a drugs test.
