Banja Luka - Bosnian Serb television employees loyal to President Biljana Plavsic cut links with studios run by hardliners in the town of Pale yesterday to air their own nightly news broadcast.

At 7.20 p.m (local time) a message flashed on television screens in the Plavsic stronghold of Banja Luka in central Bosnia proclaiming the airwaves, one of the last remaining bastions of the hardliners loyal to indicted war criminal, Radovan Karadzic, were being run by "Serb Radio-Television, Studio Banja Luka".
