One man has died and 18 people were injured in a suicide bomb blast at southwest China's tourist resort of Guilin, it was reported today.
Police said the explosion in the centre of the popular destination for foreign and Chinese tourists was caused by "an unidentified man who set off explosives to kill himself", the Xinhua news agency said.
The report did not give a motive for the man's actions.
