The body of a man in his 20s, whose body was found washed up on a beach in Wicklow yesterday has still not been identified, Gardaí said today.

A member of the public discovered the body on Greystones beach at around 9 a.m. yesterday. The man's remains were then removed to Loughlinstown Hospital for a post mortem.

Gardaí said intitial post mortem results appeared to indicate the man died from drowning.
