People with disabilities will, find it easier to vote as a result of the passage of the Electoral Amendment Bill, the Fianna Fail spokeswoman on disability said. Ms Mary Wallace said the Bill would ensure proper access to voting would be provided for disabled people and would allow blind people to vote - by using a braille template.

Disability groups welcomed the measure.
