Ms Mairead Maguire, who was jointly awarded the 1976 Nobel Peace Prize for her role in the Peace People in Northern Ireland, has nominated the Berrigan brothers, Philip and the Rev Daniel, for next year's prize. The brothers have been leading peace activists in the US since the 1960s.
