A judicial review brought by two Belfast barristers over a declaration to serve Queen Elizabeth is to be heard in the High Court next month.

Yesterday Mr Justice Kerr said the hearing, expected to last several days, would start on February 10th.

The case has been brought by Mr Seamus Treacy and Mr Barry Macdonald whose refusal as nationalists to declare they will "well and truly serve Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II" has prevented them from taking up their appointments as Queen's Counsel.
