The BAR Formula One team will announce their 2004 replacement for driver Jacques Villeneuve in Tokyo tomorrow.
The team's test driver, Takuma Sato, is expected to replace Villeneuve.
BAR said at the weekend that they would not be renewing the Canadian's contract next season.
BAR are sixth overall in the constructor's championship, a point behind Sauber and level with Jaguar.
