Baby killed in Cork collision

The mother and aunt of a baby girl killed in a two-car crash were in critical condition in hospital yesterday.

The dead infant was named as nine-month-old Fiona Crowley, from Douglas, Cork city.

The accident happened at the village of Halfway, between Cork and Bandon, at 5 p.m. on Monday. Gardai in Bandon have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
