Nationalists have been blamed for sectarian attacks along the peace line in Belfast yesterday in which windows in 16 homes and 13 cars were broken. The property damaged was in Denmark Street, Linfield Gardens and the West Circular Road.

Mr John White, of the Ulster Democratic Party, blamed the Provisional IRA for orchestrating the attacks.

The RUC is investigating the cause of a fire which caused scorch damage to the St Oliver Plunkett Primary School, Andersonstown.
