A young man jailed for six years for arson and criminal damage at St Michan's Church of Ireland in Dublin had his sentence cut to three years by the Court of Criminal Appeal yesterday.

Anthony Dillon (18), of Lindore Buildings, Dublin, was jailed for six years by Judge Cyril Kelly at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on November 13th, 1998, on charges relating to arson and criminal damage at St Michan's on July 7th and 8th, 1996.
