The RUC in Derry is treating a fire in the mortuary of Altnagelvin Hospital as arson. The alarm was raised at 2.30 a.m. yesterday, and fire and smoke damage was caused to a basement. Detectives at Strand Road were awaiting forensic results but confirmed the fire was being treated as malicious.
