A woman (71) was attacked by knife-wielding gang during a robbery in Lisburn, Co Antrim last night.
The woman received a cut on the arm and was left extremely shaken after three men broke into her at home near Sloan Street shortly after 8pm.
A PSNI spokeswoman said the men threatened the woman, cut the telephone wire and ransacked the house before fleeing.
“Anyone who witnessed any activity in the area last night or who has any information about these cowardly and contemptible thieves is asked to contact police," the spokeswoman said.
