Algiers - Algerian rebels machine-gunned to death seven people, including two children and a woman, in their latest attack on isolated villages in the North African country, hospital sources said yesterday.

The radical Islamists killed the seven, members of two families, on Monday night in the remote village of Ain Soltane, near the city of Khemis Miliana, west of the capital, Algiers.
