Pilots at Aer Lingus are understood to have further suspended proposed industrial action to allow for more talks to resolve a row over rosters.

Earlier this month members of the Irish Airline Pilots Association put off planned industrial action, which threatened to disrupt more than 30,000 passengers a day, until July 1st to allow progress to be made on summer roster arrangements.

It is understood that the threat of industrial action has now been suspended until July 21st.
