More than 80 people joined an intensive weekend search for a young German tourist who went missing in Donegal on Tuesday.
Ms Constanze Czerwinske (22), from Potsdam, left Dooey Hostel in Glencolumbkille for a walk on Tuesday afternoon but never returned.
She was last seen walking on Glen Head at about 6.45 p.m. The hostel raised the alarm that night when she did not return.
The scenery in the area is dramatic, with the cliffs at Glen Head rising to 800 feet while nearby Slieve League is one of the highest sea cliffs in Europe.
The Garda's water unit, dog unit and air support unit joined in the land and sea search with mountain and coast rescue volunteers and local people.
The Finner Camp helicopter, the Killybegs Coastguard Unit and the Aranmore lifeboat had earlier searched for the missing woman. At one stage, 15 teams were searching the area.
The gardaí in Donegal have been in regular contact with Ms Czerwinske's family and it is understood that they were arranging to travel to Ireland.
Ms Czerwinske worked as an au pair in Ireland last summer and told hostel workers that she had liked Glencolumbkille so much that she had to return.
Yesterday's search was called off at 7.30 p.m. and a scaled-back search was scheduled to resume at 8 a.m. today.
