The Minister for the Environment and Local Government, MrDempsey, has approved the construction of four local authority housing developments in Meath.

The estimated total cost for housing schemes in Manorlands Trim, Donore, Oldcastle and Summerhill is £3.5 million.

Mr Dempsey said he was pleased to give Meath County Council permission to begin construction on their large programme to meet housing needs in the county.

Mr Noel Dempsey is a Fianna Fáil TD for Meath.
