Srinagar - Fourteen Muslim guerrillas and six other people were killed in clashes in the disputed Indian state of Kashmir, officials said yesterday.

Heavily-armed Muslim militants ambushed an Indian security convoy in Kashmir, killing one paramilitary soldier and injuring nine others, police said. Gunmen ambushed two security vehicles at Tarzoo, about 54 km north of Kashmir's summer capital, Srinagar. Five militants were killed in three separate encounters in Srinagar and Kupwara districts yesterday, police said.
