Two men are recovering in hospital in Northern Ireland after seperate stabbing incidents overnight.
In one attack a 24-year-old man was stabbed in the neck and face on Duke Street in Warrenpoint, Co Down, following a fight around 2am today.
His injuries are not thought to be life threatening, police said. A man aged 29 was arrested and is being questioned.
Separately, a man aged 27 was stabbed in the stomach during an attack in south Belfast.
The extent of his injuries are not known after the assault in Cook Street early this morning. A man aged 24 has been arrested.
