A 16-year-old girl has died after a road crash in Co Carlow this morning has been named as Jamie Spruhan of Ballytiglea, Borris.
She was the passenger in a van that apparently lost control and hit a ditch on the Borris-to-Rahanne Road near Spahill at 1.40 a.m. No other vehicle was involved.
The male driver of the van, aged in his twenties, was injured in the crash.
