Macy’s flower show in New York runs from March 27th until April 10th. This year, the free show has a South American theme and includes a new outdoor exhibition on Broadway Plaza, which promises to transport visitors from the wonders of the Amazon rainforest to the neighbourhoods of Sao Paolo.

Among the nearby hotels offering freebies include the recently renovated Broadway @ Times Square Hotel, which is offering a deal where kids aged under 12 stay for free when sharing a room with adults.

The hotel also offers complimentary continental breakfast, wi-fi and phone calls nationwide. Prices in April start from $224.99 (€268) per room per night .
