Whether you’re proposing a toast to your love for the day that’s in it, making a proposal or just toasting to general happiness and good fortune, Irish crystal makers J Hill’s Standard provides heavenly vessels.

Based in Waterford, and building on the location's international reputation for glorious cut glass, Anike Tyrrell and Christopher Kelly aim to make contemporary pieces in the time-honoured way: blown by mouth and cut by hand. A piece can take up to seven hours to make. Collaborations with international designers Martino Gamper and Scholten & Baijings have resulted in awards and fans around the world for this young company.
