Brown Thomas has taken a regional approach with its in-store Christmas food markets. In Dublin, the kitchens at Carton House are providing mulled wine, puddings, sauces and cookies for sale, while in the Limerick store The Lodge at Doonbeg showcases its seasonal baking, and in Cork’s Brown Thomas, Hayfield Manor’s cakes, puddings and chutneys are on sale.
Newcomers to the Dublin store are Irish chocolatier Gerard Coleman, whose UK-based business Artisan du Chocolat, is famous for its liquid salted caramels, and Sligo’s Once Upon A Time Cakes, run by sisters Francesca Giampa and Georgina Slenge, which will have freshly baked cakes in store on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
