Wicklow sewerage plan will allow more houses

Wicklow County Council is to provide a new sewerage facility for Newtownmountkennedy and Kilcoole to enable a number of new developments to proceed. The proposal to transfer the sewage to Kilcoole, and from there to Greystones, will provide a short-term solution to the problem. Several housing schemes have been held up because of the lack of sewerage facilities.
