WITH WIMBLEDON behind us, and the Olympics in mid-session, the next major sporting event on the calendar can only be the annual SCSI (Society of Chartered Surveyors of Ireland) Tennis Tournament.
Taking place on Wednesday, August 29th at Lansdowne Tennis Club, Londonbridge Road, Dublin 4, last year’s event saw 14 teams slug it out for the prestigious Irish Times Trophy, which was ultimately won by, erm. . . The Irish Times.
Well, there’s a gauntlet if ever there was one. Entry is still open and all are welcome with applications available from Valerie Bourke at SCSI, 38 Merrion Square, Dublin 2 – the deadline is Friday, August 17th.
