DUBLIN 15: FROM €234,950Manor Park's Barnwell scheme is located in the new Hansfield district site off the Ongar Road, two miles from Blanchardstown shopping centre.

Prices are aimed firmly at cash-strapped first-time buyers with 67sq m (731sq ft) two-bed apartments priced from €234,950.

Two-bedroom houses measure a total of 75sq m (812sq ft) and are priced from €274,950.

The 93sq m (1,000sq ft) three-bedroom townhouses are priced from €299,950 and four-bedroom houses with 146sq m (1,571sq ft) cost from €384,950.

Hansfield, like Adamstown in west Dublin, is being developed under the Government's Strategic Development Zone (SDZ) principles, which ensure that developers build in some infrastructure, such as schools, roads and community facilities in tandem with housing. A total of 1,200 homes are planned for the new area.

Amenities planned for Hansfield will include a new train station, which is scheduled to open in 2011.

Primary and secondary school sites will also be provided under the planning requirements for the area.

Selling agent Savills HOK will open seven show houses on site this weekend to coincide with the launch.
