Sawmill by Blackwater could be converted

Co Cork/€350,000: An old sawmill in need of complete restoration near the small estate village of Ballyhooly in rural north Cork is for sale for over €350,000 through Michael H Daniels in Cork.

The 158sq m ( 1,700sq ft) cut-stone building, above, once part of the Earl of Listowel's Convamore estate on the Blackwater river, is enclosed in a high stone-walled yard of 0.75 acres. The 18 ft protected structure could be converted into a a two-storey building subject to planning permission. The sawmill shares the tree-lined driveway and gated entrance with the restored steward's house. Cork city is 20 miles away.
