In Co Wicklow, the ruins of a house that was once the home of Henry Grattan, along with several cottages at Tinnehinch, in Enniskerry, Co Wicklow, was withdrawn at £1.8 million and sold later for a price thought to be close to £2 million through Jackson-Stops.

Meanwhile in Dublin, Tristel Lodge, a two-storey over garden level four-bedroom house at 66 Tritonville Road, Sandymount, was sold at auction for £896,000 through Douglas Newman Good.

South Dublin

In Sandymount, a three-bed semi house at 28 St Alban's Park was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £550,000.

In Ballsbridge, a pre'63 property in 13 units at 28 Elgin Road, was sold at a Lisney auction for £1.425 million.

Also in Ballsbridge, a three-bedroom house at 8 Shelbourne Road made £425,000 through Lisney.

Sherry FitzGerald fetched £840,000 for 51 Morehampton Road, Donnybrook, a refurbished three-bedroom Victorian house.

Elsewhere in Donnybrook, Belville Lodge, a refurbished three-bed bungalow was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Finnegan Menton.

In Dublin 6, a three-bedroom apartment in need of modernisation at 7 Fitzwilliam Court, Winton Road, off Leeson Park, made £700,000 through Finnegan Menton.

In Ranelagh, a four-bed house at 60 Moyne Road made £520,000 at a Sherry FitzGerald auction.

A four-bedroom house at 28 Maxwell Road, Rathgar, Dublin 6, made £460,000 through Lisney.

Douglas Newman Good secured £428,000 at auction for 59 Casimir Road, Dublin 6W, a three-bedroom semi.

In Clonskeagh, Sherry FitzGerald is seeking £360,000 for 15 Vergemount Park, a three-bedroom semi-detached house, after it was withdrawn from auction.

A three-bed semi at 30 Frankfort Park, Dundrum, Dublin 14, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £310,000.

In Churchtown, 7 Whitehall Road, a three-bed bungalow, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £210,000.

In Killiney, a four-bed bungalow at 22 Avondale Crescent was sold at a Lisney auction for £335,000.

In Deansgrange, Co Dublin, a three-bedroom semi-detached house at 200 Clonkeen Road was sold at auction for £219,000 through Harper O'Grady.

In Newcastle, Co Dublin, a house on two acres and a warehouse at Lyons Road, was withdrawn at £620,000 and is under negotiation through J.P. & M. Doyle.

North Dublin

A two-bedroom house at 1 Clontarf Park, Clontarf, Dublin 3, was sold at a Sherry FitzGerald auction for £207,000.

In Killester, Dublin 5, a three-bed bungalow at 10 Middle Third made £250,000 at a Boyle & Associates auction.

Provincial

Near Navan, in Co Meath, a three-bedroom cottage on 17 acres at Neillstown was sold after auction for £155,000 through Smith Auctioneers.

A 32-acre non-residential farm at Fyanstown, Kells, was withdrawn and sold later through Raymond Potterton.

Also in Co Meath, Newrath House, a four-bedroom Georgian house on 104 acres at Slane, was withdrawn at £700,000 and is under negotiation through joint agents Ganly Craigie and Gunne.

In Co Kildare, 27 acres at Barberstown Cross, Straffan, were withdrawn at £320,000 and are under negotiation through Coonan.

The same agent auctioned 23 acres at Mooretown, Celbridge, in two lots. Lot 1: 10 acres made £450,000. Lot 2: 13 acres withdrawn at £360,000 and are under negotiation.

Also in Co Kildare, a cottage on 0.4 acres at Ballinagappa, Clane, made £78,000 through Reilly & Associates.

Near Gorey, Co Wexford, the ruins of a farmhouse on 47 acres at Kilnahue were sold at auction in six lots for a total of £1.332 million through Warren Estates.

Also in Wexford, 6.5 acres at Bellfield, Enniscorthy, made £585,000 at a Kehoe & Associates auction.

In Co Wicklow, 17.5 acres at Lacken, Blessington, were withdrawn at £74,000 and are under negotiation through J.P. & M. Doyle.

Commercial

In Malahide, joint agents O'Farrell Cleere and Hamilton Osborne King secured £11.5 million at auction yesterday for 10.75 acres of land with residential zoning at Old Golf Links, Coast Road.

Also in Malahide, a 2.5-acre site with zoning for one house at Back Road was sold at auction for £900,000 by O'Farrell Cleere.

Five acres zoned residential at Kinsealy, Co Dublin, were withdrawn by O'Farrell Cleere, which is quoting over £3 million.

In Dublin 1, The Kings Inn public house, at 42 Bolton Street, was withdrawn by John Younge, which is quoting £850,000.

The Old Countess pub at 113 Townsend Street, Dublin 2, was withdrawn by John Younge.

The same agent is seeking £550,000 for The Maid licensed premises at 88 Marlborough Street, Dublin 2, following its withdrawal from auction.

Still in Dublin 2, The Modern Green Bar pub, at 31 Wexford Street, was withdrawn and is under negotiation through Gunne.

North & Co secured a strong price of £8.8 million at auction for the former Harcourt Street Service Station occupying a 0.27 acre site at the junction of Harcourt Street and Adelaide Road in Dublin 2. A 3,070 sq ft office investment property at 23 Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2, was sold at auction for £865,000 through Wyse & Co.

An office building at 104 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2, was withdrawn at £1.75 million and sold later for a higher price through McCormick Auctioneers.

A 1,835 sq-ft two-storey office building, Canal House, on Northumberland Road, Dublin 4, was sold at auction for £1.7 million through Gunne.

A residential shop unit at 7 Ranelagh, was sold at auction for £260,000 through Mason Estates.

In Dun Laoghaire, Dowdalls Shop, at Kill of the Grange, was made £430,000 at a Lisney auction.

A 1.5-acre site with planning permission for 36 apartments at Kennelsfort Green, Palmerstown, Dublin 20, was sold at a Hamilton Osborne King auction for £1.625 million.

Colm McEvoy secured £610,000 at auction for Murphy's Centra foodmarket, Kildare Town.

Also in Co Kildare, the Railway Bar, at Eyre Street, Newbridge, was sold at auction for £1.175 million through Colm McEvoy.

In Co Westmeath, a commercial building at 52 Oliver Plunkett Street, Mullingar, made £1.56 million at auction through Lisney and McDonnell & Co.

John Younge is seeking £400,000 for The Crews Inn, Roosky, Co Leitrim, following its withdrawal at £350,000.

A filling station and restaurant at Urlingford, Co Kilkenny, was sold at auction for £320,000 through North & Co.

The Cartoon Inn pub, Rathdrum, Co Wicklow, was withdrawn at £400,000 and is under negotiation through Gabriel Dooley.
