Prominent Ashbourne stores site sells for in excess of £3m

The old Dardis & Dunns Seeds storehouses in Ashbourne, Co Meath was sold at tender by Insignia Richard Ellis Gunne for a price understood to be in excess of £3 million (€3.81m). The 3.29-acre site was put to tender with permission for 141 apartments, 12,000 sq ft of office space and 10,300 sq ft of retail space. The dilapidated old corn stores stand on a prominent site at the village's entrance.
