A private investor has paid £1.7 million at auction for a small headquarters building owned by recruitment group Marlborough International at Tara Street, Dublin 2. DTZ Sherry FitzGerald originally quoted a guideline price of £1.2 million for the 7,500 sq ft building, which has only one car-parking space. There is planning permission for a new fourth floor, which would provide an additional 3,530 sq ft of space.
