FINGAL

Applications

Location: Fosterstown North, Swords, Co Dublin. Proposed development: 22 one-bed apartments, 68 two-bed apartments and nine three-bed apartments in three four-storey blocks with a crèche, underground car-parking for 103 cars and 37 surface spaces. Applicant: Michael Grant Developments Ltd.

DECISION TO GRANT

Location: lands zoned residential, north and north-west, Cappagh Road, Finglas, Dublin 11. Proposed development: 351 residential units, local centre and crèche. Residential element consists of 255 houses (99 two-bed mid-terrace houses, 75 three-bed end-terrace houses, 12 three-bed mid-terrace houses, 65 three-bed semis and four four-bed semis). The duplexes comprise 16 two-beds in six three-storey blocks. The 80 apartments will consist of 18 one-bed units and 62 two-bed units. The two-storey local centre and crèche are in the southern corner of the site at Cappagh Road. The local centre will comprise of six retail units on the ground floor and six offices on the first floor. The crèche is to the east of the local centre and will incorporate an outdoor play area. Location: 27 Main Street (known locally as "Old Walls"), Swords, Co Dublin. Proposed development: demolish two-storey dwelling for a part four and five-storey mixed-use development comprising two retail units at basement and ground floor level, two restaurants at first floor level, two offices at second and third floor level and one office unit at fourth floor level. Applicant: Raymond and Maria Taylor.

Location: townland of Racecourse Common and Ballough, site is south of Orlynn Park, north of the Lusk Relief Road and east of the Dublin Road. Proposed development: 202 houses, apartments and a crèche comprising 92 two-storey three-bed townhouses, 24 two-storey three-bed duplex units with 14 two-bed apartments over and 72 two-bed apartments in five three-storey blocks with a two-storey crèche.
