Dún Laoghaire Rathdown

Location: Seapoint Dart station, Seapoint Avenue, Blackrock, Co Dublin. Proposed development: 14.12-metre long by 1.72-metre wide steel railway footbridge, including steel staircases, over the Dublin to Wexford Line, to replace footbridge. Stone-clad lift shafts attached to the new footbridge on both platforms to facilitate full mobility impaired access to the station. Remove existing footbridge. Temporary removal of masonry wall adjacent to the station entrance and the installation of a temporary stairway access around the rear of the station building connecting to the northbound platform. Installation of a temporary footbridge at the north end of the platforms. Internal alterations and building works to the station building to accommodate the new footbridge, staircase and lift shafts, and the temporary access stairs to the rear of the building. Modifications to the station roof to accommodate the proposed lift shaft and stairs. Regrading the station entrance pathway in the immediate vicinity of the station entrance to match with the station concourse level and the station entrance will be modified to allow for full mobility impaired access. Seapoint station adjoins the protected structures: walls to former stables, forming the boundary wall to rear of northbound platform and rear of station building; nos 1 to 8 Ardenza Terrace; 36 and 38 Seapoint Avenue; and no works are proposed for any part of these structures. South Dublin

Location: 1.63-hectare site, Ashleaf Shopping Centre, Crumlin Cross, Crumlin, Dublin 12. Proposed development: retail, residential, office and apart-hotel uses on a 1.63-hectare site which will consist of the partial demolition, refurbishment and extension of Ashleaf Shopping Centre. The development will consist of the demolition of 3,559sq m (38,309sq ft) of space; the refurbishment of 2,960sq m (31,861sq ft); the continued use of 12,394sq m (133,408sq ft); and the reorganisation of floor space and new construction, resulting in a scheme of 28,084sq m (302,293sq ft), excluding car-parking at basement level. Reorganisation of some floor space, which results in a change of use from non-retail services to retail; retail to medical centre; office to retail; non-retail services to office; office to apart-hotel; ancillary space to medical centre; and ancillary space to retail. Provision of an 80-bedroom apart-hotel including conference facilities, 40 residential units comprising four one-beds, 33 two-beds and three three-beds. Location: Lucan Spa Hotel, Lucan, Co Dublin. Proposed development: alterations and extensions to the hotel (protected structure) comprising at ground floor internal alterations to the ballroom (including removal of modern balcony), toilets/cloakroom and adjoining Liffey room forming ballroom/function room and staff welfare areas together with the demolition of the modern single storey extensions to the south of the ballroom and their replacement with a single storey extension comprising ballroom pavilion annexe, kitchen and store areas.
