The single-storey-fronted Victorian houses that line the streets spurring off the town end of Dublin’s South Circular Road are much sought after – and command quite a premium for small townhouses – mainly because of their location and their style.

It’s the front livingroom that usually helps sell these houses because with very high ceilings, a tall sash window and an open fire they give the feeling of a much larger period house.
