THE MacNally family has returned to the Dublin optics market

THE MacNally family has returned to the Dublin optics market. Their new business is located in the ground floor of Huguenot House, an office building beside the Shelbourne Hotel which was recently refurbished by Ballymore Properties.

They will be paying a rent of £22,500 for 642 square feet on the ground floor and 540 at basement level under a 25-year lease.

Donal McNally senior sold his city-centre chain of opticians over a year ago. The new business, to be known as MacNally Opticians on the Green, will be run by two of his daughters and a son. Spain Courtney Doyle handled the letting.

In Dublin's Temple Bar area, Optica, the fashion opticians headed by Donal McNally junior, has paid in the region of £175,0000 for a unit of 415 square feet at The Granary. Hamilton Osborne King was the selling agent.
