Since the launch of Loughminane Green in Kildare town in May, sales have reached £5.2 million (6.6 million), according to the developers, Croftbeam Company Ltd.
There are 10 houses remaining of the initial phase of 40, which include two detached 1,648 sq ft four-bedroom houses priced from £184,950 (234,890), five detached 1,695 sq ft four-bed bungalows from £224,950 (285,630) and two detached four-bed 2,000sqft corner houses, from £224,950 (285,630).
Sales are being handled by Property Partners Michael McWey and Associates and Property Partners Brady &Co.
Surrounded by parkland, Loughminane Green is a low-density development with five houses per acre on the outskirts of Kildare town. The first five houses are expected to be ready for occupation next month.
The 2,000 sq ft houses have an entrance hall that would be spacious enough to incorporate a study or library, a kitchen, utility room, livingroom and diningroom. Two of the four bedrooms are en suite.
The bungalows have an inner conservatory hall with a floor-to-ceiling window, roof glazing and access to the patio. The main bedroom is en suite.
The 1,648 sq ft houses have an en suite main bedroom, kitchen, double doors to a patio, utility room and living/diningroom area.
There will be 110 houses in total on completion. Designed by BMV Consult, standard features are uPVC windows, natural gas-fired central heating, electric power showers and driveways with parking for two cars.
The railway station in Kildare town, one mile from Loughminane Green, runs 10 trains to Heuston Station between 6.45a.m. and 10 a.m. as well as seven trains each evening, between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
