Velvet sofa is a smooth bargain

CAVEY DESIGN at 4 Shaw’s Lane, Bath Avenue, Dublin 4 (01-6600600) is holding a sofa sale of ex-display models with up to 50 per cent off its original asking prices. A Becara Bohemia three-seater sofa, pictured in orange velvet and available in moss green cotton velvet, is reduced to half price, down from €3,680 to €1,850.

An Andrew Martin creation, Eden, in fawn velvet is down 40 per cent from €2,900 to €1,750. Another Andrew Martin design, the Crawford, in off-white linen, is reduced from €3,990 to €1,900. There are sofas by French houses Les Heritiers and Mis en Demeure all now half price. The showroom is open Monday to Friday 10am-5pm, Saturdays 11am-4pm.
