Country Living (086-3540095/ 086-8400183), at Tara Stud Gate Lodge in Dunshaughlin, Co Meath, is a charming little fabric shop set in a gate lodge that is open three days a week.
It sells bin ends of designer fabrics such as Colfax and Fowler, Jane Churchill, Zoffanny, Designers Guild and Sanderson. A Mulberry biscuit coloured curtain silk with a lime green rose print that was €70 is selling for €25.95. A grey with orange poppy printed upholstery velvet by GP and Baker is down from €240 per metre to €35.95
