WHAT’s in a name? Folk living in the 24 houses at Honey Park cottages off Sallynoggin Road in Dún Laoghaire will wake up today to find their pretty address has been hijackedby a brand new estate a roundabout away off Kill Avenue. Honeypark – one word – is the name agreed on by developer Cosgraves and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council (DLRCOCO) for the scheme launching today at the Kill Avenue roundabout.

Over 800 homes are to be built there, and street names for the estate have already been agreed – they include Carnegie Drive, Claremont Avenue and so on. No, it won’t be confusing says The Council
