Apartments from €250,000 in Dublin 11 could interest first-time buyers looking for a foothold on the property ladder. Alternatively, investors might see potential in the location, close to Dublin City University, the airport and M50.

Completions in this phase are scheduled for late summer 2007.

Mayeston Hall is off St Margaret's Road, just beyond Finglas village, and a reasonable commute to the city.

Construction began last year and phase one is almost complete. Barina Construction and architects Fenton Simons have produced an attractive, classic look at Mayeston Hall, with redbrick exteriors and landscaping that promises to be excellent.

Prices start at €250,000 for one-bedroom apartments of 44-58sq m (470-620sq ft). Two-beds of 68-78sq m (730-840sq ft) cost from €295,000. Three-bedroom apartments of 91sq m (975sq ft) cost from €375,000.

A good standard fit-out is included in the price. The five-storey blocks will accommodate a small number of units on each floor.
