Irish investors looking for an apartment in Glasgow may be interested in a new scheme being launched this week through Hooke & MacDonald's Dublin and Belfast offices. Silvergrove is a village-style development of one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, along with two-bedroom and three-bedroom townhouses on a site with frontage on to London Road and Arcadia Street.

One-bedroom units in the first phase will cost from £49,000 sterling, while two-bedroom apartments will range from £52,000 to £56,000. The agents are offering a turn-key package which will include reduced legal fees, letting service, management services and a fit-out package. It is anticipated that rents for one-bedroom homes could be around £375 per month and £475 for two-bedroom units, representing yields of 11 per cent.
