Shopfront: Stephen Pearce pottery seems to have been around forever and although some might say the look hasn't changed too much in all that time, many of his new pieces for winter have a great simple beauty and are a little less overtly "crafty".
Many also seem to be multi-purpose. This square plate can be used as, um, a plate, obviously - or as shown here to make a Christmas-y window decoration by placing a few tall slender candles into its base.
