Two Victorian villa-style houses fetched strong prices at auction yesterday. In Rathgar, Harper O'Grady fetched £930,000 under the hammer for 13 Garville Avenue, a terraced four-bedroom with an attractive back garden.
Meanwhile in Blackrock, Co Dublin, Jackson-Stops sold a semi-detached villa at Waltham Terrace for £800,000. The four-bedroom house needs complete refurbishment.
Elsewhere in Dublin 6, a four-bedroom mews at 36 Garville Lane was withdrawn at £300,000 and sold later for a higher price through Lisney.
A site with planning for a three-bed house at rear of 7 Kenilworth Square was sold at auction for £255,500 by Douglas Newman Good.
In Dublin 8, three five-bedroom terraced houses at 11, 12 and 13 Clanbrassil Street were withdrawn in one lot at £785,000 by Youngs, which is quoting £800,000.
Also in Dublin 8, 14 Long Lane, a two-bedroom terraced house, was withdrawn at £140,000 and sold later for a higher price through Lisney.
South Dublin
A four-bedroom detached bungalow at 9 Dornden Park, Booterstown, was sold at a Lisney auction for £410,000.
In Blackrock, Co Dublin, a three-bedroom semi at 15 Seapoint Avenue was sold prior to auction for over the guide price of £360,000 by Sherry FitzGerald.
Still in Blackrock, 25 Ardagh Crescent, a three-bed bungalow, made £280,000 through Lisney. In Dublin 18, Aileach, a four-bedroom detached house on Hillcrest Road, was withdrawn at £600,000 and is under negotiation through Jackson-Stops
A three-bedroom bungalow, St Judes, on Shanganagh Road, Shankill, was withdrawn at £190,000 by Gunne Residential, which sold it later for a higher price.
In Dundrum, a five-bedroom detached house on 0.33 acres, Crosswinds, at Upper Kilmacud Road, was sold at auction for £762,000 by Meldon & Sons.
A three-bedroom detached bungalow on just under an acre, Sherbury, in Glenasmole, was sold at a Douglas Newman Good auction for £297,500.
In Newcastle, Co Dublin, Teach Ban, a five-bedroom dormer bungalow, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is seeking £800,000.

In Donnybrook, a four-bedroom apartment at Thornfield, Number 4, was withdrawn at £1.25 million and is under negotiation through Sherry FitzGerald.
Also in Donnybrook, Sherry FitzGerald is seeking £280,000 for 8 Brookvale Road, following its withdrawal from auction.
In Ballsbridge, Lisney is seeking £520,000 for 77 Shrewsbury Park, a three-bedroom semi-detached house, following its withdrawal from auction at £450,000.
In Sandymount, 1 Herbert Court, a four-bedroom townhouse at 38a Sandymount Avenue, was withdrawn at £620,000 and sold later for a higher price through joint agents Sherry FitzGerald and Bennetts.
A two-bedroom townhouse at 14 Baggot Court, Dublin 2, was sold at a Lisney auction for £350,000.
North Dublin
A five-bedroom detached house at 14 Muldowney Court, Malahide, was sold at auction for £510,000 by Gunne Residential.
A five-bedroom dormer bungalow, Minesioda, on Thormanby Road, Howth, was sold at a Hamilton Osborne King auction for £500,000. In Dublin 9, 58 St Mobhi Road, Glasnevin, a four-bedroom semi-detached house, was withdrawn by Gunne Residential, which is seeking £275,000.
Lisney secured £191,000 at auction for 453 North Circular Road, Dublin 7, a three-bedroom terraced house.
Wicklow
In Delgany, 13 acres at Priestnewtown were sold prior to auction for over the guide price of £550,000-plus by Remax Garden County.
At Brittas Bay, a four-bed bungalow on 0.33 acres at 8 Cornagower Park was withdrawn by H.J. Byrne, which is seeking £325,000.

In Co Kildare, a six-bedroom detached house, Sycamore Lodge, on five acres, at Ballyshannon, Kilcullen, was withdrawn by Brophy Farrell, which is seeking £325,000.
Near Maynooth, a five-bedroom house, Raheen, on an acre at Rathcoffey was withdrawn by Coonan at £290,000.
The same agent sold a semidetached cottage on the Maynooth Road, Celbridge, at auction for £100,000.
Still in Co Kildare, a five-acre holding at Blackmiller, The Curragh, was sold at auction for £130,000 by Colm McEvoy.
In Co Meath, a four-bedroom bungalow on four acres, Lisieux, at Carlanstown, Kells, was withdrawn by Gunne Residential, which is seeking £225,000.
A derelict house on four acres at Adamstown, Trim, was sold at auction for £85,000 by Raymond Potterton.
In Delvin, Co Westmeath, 36 acres of land at Rosmead were sold at auction in four lots by Raymond Potterton. Lot 1: 13 acres made £63,000. Lot 2: 8.5 acres sold for £16,000. Lot 3: three acres made £9,000. Lot 4: 10 acres sold for £12,000.
A two-bedroom bungalow on 0.5 acres at Moortown, Castlepollard, Co Westmeath, was withdrawn at £77,000 and sold later for a higher price through Murray Auctioneers.

In Dublin 7, The Tap public house, at 44 North King Street, was sold at auction for £1.26 million through Morrisseys.
In Blanchardstown Village, Dublin 15, Ardee House, a detached office building, was sold at a Lisney auction for £505,000.
A residential shop unit at 187 Lower Kimmage Road, Kimmage, Dublin 6, was sold prior to auction for £380,000 by Youngs.
In Naas, Co Kildare, Hennessy's Garage property, including a food-store and car showrooms, on Sallins Road, was sold at auction for over £2 million through Colm McEvoy.
