Large homes in the heart of Clarinbridge village, Co Galway will attract top- end buyers looking for family friendly homes in a village setting.

Caiseal Riada comprises five large houses, with prices from €1.6 million to €1. 8 million.

The houses, being developed by Galway-based McNamara Properties, are designed for family living on a large scale. They have around 325sq m (3,500sq ft) of living space and are all on 0.5-0.75 -acre sites.

Caiseal Riada has a great location in the village on on a quiet cul-de-sac on the southern end of the village.

A lane at the bottom of the road gives pedestrian access to the primary school and village centre.

Construction on the houses is well underway and selling agent Sherry FitzGerald Kavanagh says that the houses will be ready for occupation early in the new year.

A high-end fit out is being promised by the developer including underfloor heating and central vacuum systems. The houses will come with allowances of up to €88,000.

The houses have natural slate roofs and cut limestone features to the front. Each house will have electronic gates as well as solar panels.

Famed for its oyster festival and Paddy Burkes Oyster Inn, Clarinbridge is an attractive village eight miles south east of Galway City. In recent years it has become an affluent commuter village, but still has old-world charm.
