The home of a former Italian Ambassador to Ireland, Eastham, at 13 Wellington Place, Ballsbridge, was sold prior to auction for a price believed to be about £1.1 million through Lisney. The two-storey over garden level period house has four/ five-bedrooms.

In Donnybrook, de Vere White & Smyth secured a strong price of £705,000 at auction for 46 Marlborough Road, Donnybrook, a four-bedroom end-of-terrace house.

Also in Donnybrook, a three bedroom penthouse at Donnybrook Castle was sold prior to auction for over the guide price of £450,000 by Ross McParland.

A three-bedroom townhouse at 6 Leeson Village was withdrawn at auction at £350,000 by Eoin Deering and sold later for a higher price. In Sandymount, 31 Newbridge Avenue, a Victorian single-storey over garden level house with six principal rooms, made £475,000 at a Douglas Newman Good auction.

South Dublin

In Blackrock, 11 Priory Avenue, a four-bedroom semi-detached house, was sold at auction for £505,000 by Sherry FitzGerald.

In Kilternan, a five-bedroom detached house, Knockbracken, at Bishop's Lane, on two acres was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald and sold later for over £800,000.

A five-bedroom detached house at 48 Park Vale, Sandyford Road, Sandyford, was withdrawn at £375,000 and is under negotiation through Daphne L. Kaye & Associates.

In Foxrock, The Conkers, on Torquay Road, a three-bedroom townhouse, was withdrawn at £310,000 and sold later for a higher price through Daphne L. Kaye & Associates.

A four-bedroom bungalow at 22 Mather Road, Mount Merrion, was withdrawn by Lisney, which is now quoting £405,000. In Dun Laoghaire, 16 Tivoli Terrace South, a three-bedroom semi-detached house, made £270,000 at a Lisney auction.

A four-bedroom bungalow at 28 Sion Road, Glenageary, sold after a Lisney auction for over the guide price of £325,000. In Killiney, Co Dublin, Wyvern House, a landmark detached house in six units, was withdrawn at £620,000 and is under negotiation through Douglas Newman Good. In Crumlin, Dublin 12, a three bedroom mid-terraced house at 36 St Mary's Road was withdrawn at £140,000 by Mason Estates, which is quoting £150,000.

Dublin 6 and 8

In Terenure, a 2,800 sq ft detached house with eight rooms at 29 Terenure Road West made £720,000 through Gunne. Elsewhere in Terenure, 6 Rathdown Avenue, a four-bedroom semi-detached house, was withdrawn by Orchard, which is quoting £360,000-plus.

A three-bedroom semi-detached house at 3 Garville Avenue, Rathgar, was withdrawn by Sherry FitzGerald, which is quoting £267,000.

Douglas Newman Good fetched £480,000 at auction for 81 Leinster Road, Rathmines, a two-storey period house in five units.

Also in Rathmines, 71 Grove Park, a two-storey over garden level period house in three units, was sold at auction for £260,000 by Cumisky Cooke Scales.

In Ranelagh, 14 Chester Road, a three-bedroom terraced house, was withdrawn and sold later for over £220,000 by Dunne Estates.

In Templeogue, 19 The Orchard, on Fortfield Road, a four-bedroom detached house, was withdrawn at £325,000 and is under negotiation through Gunne.

Also in Templeogue, Hamilton Osborne King is seeking £265,000 for a four-bedroom semi-detached house at 22 Springfield Avenue following its withdrawal from auction at £245,000.

In Dublin 8, a three-bedroom penthouse apartment at Bishopsmeade made £350,000 at a Sherry FitzGerald auction.

Off the South Circular Road, in Dublin 8, 1 Bloomfield Avenue, a five-bedroom terraced house, made £365,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

Nearby at 33 South Circular Road, a three-bedroom end of terraced house was sold for £323,000 at a Sherry FitzGerald auction.

Dublin 14 and 16

A three-bedroom semi-detached bungalow at 1 Whitehall Road, Churchtown, Dublin 14, was withdrawn at £292,000 and is under negotiation through O'Mahony Auctioneers.

Also in Churchtown, a detached four-bedroom bungalow at 10 Briarly Court made £351,000 at a Sherry FitzGerald auction.

North Dublin

A five-bedroom period house at 6 Windsor Terrace, Malahide, was withdrawn at £800,000 by joint agents Douglas Newman Good and Lisney, who sold it later for a higher figure.

Also in Malahide, 10 Castle View Park, a four-bedroom semidetached house, sold at auction for £306,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Baldoyle, Dublin 13, a four-bedroom detached house at 28 Strand Road was sold at auction for £261,000 by Sherry FitzGerald.

A four-bedroom semi-detached house at 11 The Stiles Road, Clontarf, Dublin 3, was sold at auction for £346,000 by Sherry FitzGerald.

Also in Clontarf, 21 Copeland Avenue, a four-bedroom semi-detached house, made £290,000 at Douglas Newman auction. In Glasnevin, Dublin 9, 2 Daneswell Road, a three-bedroom semi-detached house fetched, £215,000 at a Gunne auction.

At 55 Iona Villas, Glasnevin, a three-bedroom semi-detached house was withdrawn by Boyle & Associates, which is quoting £250,000.

A seven-bedroom detached bungalow at 206 Gracepark Road, Drumcondra, was sold at auction for £275,500 by GWD.

In Castleknock, Dublin 15, a five-bedroom detached house, Lavina, on Park Avenue, made over £500,000 after a Lisney auction.

In Rolestown, Co Dublin, a three-bedroom cottage on 1.5 acres at Kilsallaghan was sold at a Hamilton Osborne King auction for £272,000.

Wicklow

In Eniskerry, Curtlestown House, Curtlestown, a three-bedroom period house on 0.5 acres with a one-bedroom mews, made £405,000 through Sherry FitzGerald.

In Blessington, a two-storey house on Main Street sold for £330,000 at an auction through J.P. & M. Doyle.

A two-bedroom cottage, Cronroe Cottage, in Ashford, was sold at auction for £210,000 by Raymond Potterton.

In Hollywood, a six-bedroom bungalow on 15 acres, Slieve corragh House, was sold at auction for £326,000 by Nugent Auctioneers.

In Bray, Cintra, a five-bedroom house at 6 Novara Terrace, was withdrawn at £310,000 and sold later for a higher figure through H.J. Byrne.

Provincial

In Co. Kildare, a four-bedroom house on 47 acres at Killeenmore, Sallins, was sold at auction for £870,000 through Jackson-Stops McCabe.

A 12-acre farm at Haynestown, Naas, Co. Kildare was sold at auction for £240,000 by James A. Morrin. Meanwhile in Naas, The Lodge, a five-bedroom bungalow on 0.5 acres at Tipper Road, was withdrawn at £235,000 by Colm McEvoy.

In Co. Meath, a three-bedroom detached bungalow at Main Street, Clonee, was sold at auction for £350,000 through Baxters.

Also in Co. Meath, a three-bedroom cottage on an acre at Flemington, Balrath, was withdrawn at £72,000 by Raymond Potterton.

Dromena House, a five-bedroom Georgian house on 2.3 acres at Castlebellingham, Co. Louth, was sold at auction by Gunne for £395,000.

In Co. Kilkenny, Knocktopher Hall, on 8.5 acres at Knocktopher, was withdrawn at £420,000 by Walter Walsh which quoting about £600,000.

Also in Co. Kilkenny, Arlands Inch Mill, a five-bedroom property in Thomastown, was withdrawn by Ganly Walters, which is quoting £365,000.

In Galway O'Donellan & Joyce sold two houses at auction: 15 Hazelwood, Taylors Hill, a four-bedroom detached house, made £290,000; 7 Manor Avenue, Kingston, a four-bedroom detached house, sold for £196,000.

In Cleggan, Co Galway a three-bedroom cottage on 14 acres at Aughrisbeg, was withdrawn at £205,000 and sold later for a higher figure through Heaslips.

Commercial

In Co. Waterford, Minnies public house, Dungarvan, was sold at auction for £1.75 million through Cohalan Downing.

Also in Waterford, 5 Catherine Street, a period office building, made £275,000 at an auction through David Gill.

In Co. Kerry, J.D's Bar and restaurant on Main Street, Ballybunion, was withdrawn by Gunne.

In Co. Meath, The Warrenstown Arms, in Warrenstown, Drumree, was withdrawn at £510,000 by McPeake Auctioneers.

A riding arena at Rocklands, Wexford, was sold prior to auction by Kehoe & Associates.

In Co. Clare, The Pipers Inn, Killaloe, a public house/restaurant and Bed and Breakfast property, was sold at auction for £400,000 through John Younge.

In Co. Galway, a nine-acre site with outline planning permission for 24 individual houses at Garbally Demesne, Ballinasloe, was sold at auction for £540,000 through Michael McCullagh.

In Dublin 8, McCormacks Londis supermarket and off-licence at 176 South Circular Road was withdrawn by John Younge.

On Francis Street, Dublin 8, the Viking Lodge Hotel, a 30-bedroom hotel, was withdrawn by Hamilton Osborne King, which is quoting £2.3 million.
