Lagos:One and two-bedroom apartments and four-bedroom villas costing from €290,000 to more than €1.3 million close to the centre of Lagos, a town at the western end of the Algarve, have just been launched through agent Savills HOK.
There are 58 apartments in two-storey buildings and 20 villas in Cascade Resort, a Portuguese development. The 67-100sq m (721-1,076sq ft) apartments come with large terraces, which add to the space. They have underground car-parking and a communal pool.
Villas measure 400sq m (4,305sq ft) and come with pools, saunas, a three-car garage and a solarium with views of sea and town. There is a beach within walking distance of the resort and golf courses nearby. There will be a five-star hotel and a spa at the centre of the development: the hotel is due to be built by the end of 2007, along with phase one of the apartments.
