Thomas O'Doherty, manager of Hooke and MacDonald's Belfast office also had reason to celebrate last weekend when he sold 82 apartments with a sales value of £10 million stg at Whitehall Square, a new development on Lisburn Road in the heart of south Belfast. Ulster Property Sales were the joint agents.

One-bedroom apartments cost mainly from £85,000 to £95,000; two-bedroom units made from £102,000 to £130,000 while three-bedroom duplex penthouses went for £180,000 to £200,000. Hooke and MacDonald is also to take booking from today for 20 large two-bedroom apartments in a courtyard setting in Glasgow. Prices will range from £79,950 to £84,000 sterling.
