Caisearbháin cheanndána ag fás gan chead sa ghairdín

Ola bhuí as an úir aníos. Splais! Splais! Splais!

Tá an gairdín líon lán le caisearbháin. Níl a fhios agam cá háit as a dtáinig siad. Tá siad fud fad na háite agus féileacáin bhána ag tabhairt cuairte orthu. Tá an gairdín agus bealtaí na tuaithe breac leis na bláthanna buí. Phléasc siad as an talamh go tobann. Is iad atá dáigh mar bhláthanna fiáine; is cuma leo mura mbíonn fáilte rompu sa ghairdín néata dea-lomtha. Fásann siad; splaiseann siad.

Tugann an tEolaí Póca le fios gur “fiaile chomónta i léanta is i ngairdíní, cois bóithre is cosán, ar thalamh tréigthe agus in áiteanna féarmhara eile ar fud na hEorpa”. Fiaile, an ea? Tuigim do mheon an gharraíodóra ar mór leis a dhúiche dhea-phleanáilte féin, an duine a chuireann gach aon bhláth as a stuaim féin, an duine nach gcuireann fáilte roimh an fhás neamhspleách.

Níl mise ar dhuine acu. Garraí Éireannach atá anseo; ‘gairdín’ a bhí ina pháirc prátaí lá den tsaol. Níl san fhéar dheas ach cur i gcéill.

Tá tuatha eile thíos faoin fhéar, tuatha neamhspleácha na bhfiailí agus na mbláthanna fiáine. Tá cead agam an féar a lomadh ach ní liom an gairdín. Bhí na caisearbháin ann romham agus beidh siad ann i mo dhiaidh.

Fáilte don fhiaile, don phlanda nach ngéilleann do phleananna garraíodóra, an caisearbhán ceanndána, ag fanacht leis an deis teacht chun solais.

Ola bhuí as an úir aníos. Splais! Splais! Splais! PÓM
