"It wouldn't be summer without Arthurstown in Co Wexford. August to me is going there and spending time with my family." says Fair City actress Claudia Carroll.

"It's a tiny little fishing village on the Waterford border. You can't be stressed, and there are beautiful walks such as Curracloe Beach. Even at the peak of the tourist season you can walk that beach and never meet another soul. It's the change of lifestyle. It's going into a different world and visiting Dunbrody House, where you can sit and watch the sun set, sipping a gin and tonic."

When in China...

. . . don't try to order chop suey, chow mein or fortune cookies. These dishes were invented in America and don't exist in China. Also, don't be afraid that you may inadvertently order dog: it's very expensive, so its price means there is no mistaking it on a menu.
