A reminder to those interested in buying Telecom Eireann shares that their applications must be received no later than 4 p.m. next Wednesday, June 30th.
Retail investors are invited to apply on the basis of the amount of money that they wish to invest rather than the number of shares that they wish to buy. The minimum amount people can apply for is £250 and the maximum is £100,000.
Those who did not register to buy shares, and thus did not get a personalised priority application form and prospectus in the post, can collect an application pack at any branch of AIB or at Telecom Eireann telecentres.
Completed application forms, together with payment, can be sent by post in the pre-paid envelopes or delivered by hand to the specially marked collection boxes available in AIB branches by the deadline.
Investors can pay by direct debit, by cheque or bankers' draft drawn on a bank or building society or by postal or money order from An Post, made payable to Telecom Eireann Share Offer.
