The Dublin Web Summit has launched a new invitation-only networking event for Irish start-ups.

The Start Summit will take place on the evening of February 15th and people interested in attending can apply for an invitation through dublinweb summit.com. Selected start-ups will also be able to pitch at the event.

It has also been confirmed the Dublin Web Summit 2012 will take place on October 17th and October 18th next. Paddy Cosgrave, the Web Summit founder, attended the World Economic Forum in Davos this week at the invitation of the organisers.
